Freelance PERL Programmer

We are looking for a freelance / contractor PERL programmer with some PERL experience. The position is ideal for a freelancer / student who knows their way around PERL code, lives in CPAN modules, and can import data from an excel spreadsheet to a database in under 15 lines of code.

You will be working from your own premises, upgrading current applications as well as designing new ones. You will also be responsible for providing technical support on some currently running applications.

This is not a 9 to 5 job, it is a freelance, get-the-job-done-on-time position. Pay rates are hourly based, and depend on your experience. Forward samples of your code as well as samples of web-applications/scripts previously built. There will be a skills exam to pass.
